The award was announced and presented to Bill at the June 24, 2022, IMA Summer Workshop – and as a bonus, Dale Storer was present. The Dale Storer Professionalism Award is awarded to a municipal attorney, nominated by their peers, who exemplifies professionalism in the municipal legal field. The award is named for Dale Storer, a longtime city attorney, who is renowned for his experience, expertise, commitment, and professionalism in service to the field of municipal law and to his community.
Bill is well-deserving of this honor and exemplifies the same qualities that Dale Storer and this award represent. Bill is known for his willingness to share his expertise and provide perspective with all city attorneys on issues of concern. He has used this expertise and professionalism to provide years of service to cities, most particularly the City of McCall for the past 17 years.
