Andrea has practiced law in the Treasure Valley since 2007 and joined the firm in November 2021.
After clerking for several district judges in Ada County, Andrea became a misdemeanor and conflict felony prosecutor for the City of Boise. She handled twenty jury trials as lead counsel before shifting the focus of her practice at the City of Boise to municipal law and land use. Andrea advised local public officials, departments, and land use commissions on a range of legal issues including litigation, risk management, appeals, internal policies, and development law. In 2014, Andrea received specialized training on the Fair Housing Act from HUD’s General Counsel of Fair Housing. Thereafter, she advised the City of Boise on HUD compliance matters and affordable housing development.
In private practice, Andrea has represented homeowners, developers, and other stakeholders in local public hearings related to land use permits. Her practice area is focused on municipal law, civil litigation, and the development permit process.
Andrea was born in California’s San Joaquin Valley. When she was 11, her family relocated to Nampa, Idaho and she has been a proud Idahoan ever since. She is a graduate of Nampa High School and College of Idaho. Andrea attended the University of Idaho for law school where she was an Editor of the Idaho Law Review. In her spare time, Andrea enjoys reading, listening to music, and playing board games with her daughters.
